O'Hare Transfer is a commuter railroad station along Metra's North Central Service that serves Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. The station is 18.6 miles (29.9 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line. The station is located at the dead end of Zemke Boulevard east of Mannheim Road (US 12/US 45) outside the northeast corner of Economy Parking Lot F. To access the station from the airport, take the free Airport Transit System train from any terminal to the final station in Parking Lot E. Board the free Parking Lot shuttle bus to the Metra station. To access the airport from the station, wait in the driveway outside the station for a Parking Lot shuttle bus going back to the ATS station in Parking Lot E. An effort is currently under way to extend the ATS into a combination parking garage and rental car center in Parking Lot F, thereby providing more direct access between the two systems.
