The Polegreen Church, also known as the Hanover Meeting House, is the site of the first non-Anglican church in Virginia. The site is in rural Hanover County, at 6411 Heatherwood Drive in Mechanicsville. The meeting house was built in 1743, not long after the First Great Awakening reached Virginia.
