The Peace Center is located adjacent to Falls Park in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. It is an arts center that contains the 2100 seat Peace Concert Hall, 400 seat Dorothy Hipp Gunter Theater, and the amphitheater (TD Stage at the Peace Center) located beside the Reedy River. It hosts over 300 events each year, including classical music, Broadway shows and appearances by popular artists such as David Copperfield. There are four resident companies: [2]Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Carolina Ballet Theater, South Carolina Children's Theater, and the International Ballet. In January 2004, the Peace Center hosted a debate among Democratic presidential candidates.
