WCCQ (98.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Crest Hill, Illinois, USA, it serves the Chicago area. The station was launched as a country station in 1984 as Q-Country. The original lineup of announcers included Bob Zak, Mark Edwards, Ted Clark, Barb Wunder, Jim Beedle, Matt Kingston and Jim Felbinger. The current lineup features Roy & Carol in the morning (since 1994), Geno Brien middays (former morning show host of 95.9 the River) and Todd Boss (The Bossman) doing afternoons. Other weekend and fill-in personalities include Rich Renik (from WMAQ and WUSN), Brandon Jones, Jillian, and Laura Vaughn. The station is currently owned by Digity, LLC, through licensee NM License, LLC, and features programming from Jones Radio Network.
