Ferguson Township is a home rule municipality, formerly a township, in Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the State College, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 17,690 at the 2010 census, which is a 25.8% increase from the 2000 census[1]. Most of the agricultural research for Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), located in nearby State College, Pennsylvania, is at the Russell E.
