Its city of license is Colorado Springs, Colorado, serving the Colorado Springs-Pueblo market as a LeSEA owned-and-operated station. The station, which signed on the air in 1992 and maintains a studio in Colorado Springs, was previously a semi-satellite sister of KWHD in Denver, Colorado. Both outlets shared the same programming with some exceptions.
