New Somerset is an unincorporated community in northern Knox Township, Jefferson County, Ohio, United States. It lies along State Route 213 approximately 5 miles (8 km) south of the unincorporated community of Hammondsville and 15 miles (24 km) north of the city of Steubenville, the county seat of Jefferson County.
