Windsor is a town in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,286 at the 2000 census. The census-designated place of Windsor is located in the town. The unincorporated communities of Lake Windsor, Morrisonville, and Token Creek are also located in the town. A portion of the town was part of a disputed annexation by the Village of DeForest. In July 2004 the village and town reached a settlement in which part of the disputed area would be annexed by the village and part would remain with the town.
