Leesburg High School is a high school located in Leesburg, Florida and is one of seven public high schools in Lake County, Florida. The school is made up of approximately 3,700+ students. The current principal is Bill Miller. For a number of years the school was rated by the state of Florida, based upon its FCAT scores, as a "D" school. As a result, the school was under pressure by the state to improve FCAT scores for the 2009-2010 school year. During the 2010-11 school year, the school achieved a "B" grade, but due to a penalty it was reduced to a "C" grade.
