Michigan City is a train station in Michigan City, Indiana served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Wolverine makes stops here three times—once on its way to Chicago and twice on the way to Pontiac. The current station is a platform shelter near the former prairie-style Michigan Central Railroad depot dating from 1915, which is now a local restaurant. It is fairly close to the city's administrative office and the Lake Michigan shoreline.
