Its transmitter is located near Crofton, Maryland and the studios are in Lanham, Maryland (in Prince Georges County near Washington). Despite claiming to be "All news all the time" WNEW often airs DC United and Washington Wizards games due to sister CBS station 106.7 The Fan usually already covering a game as well as the Dave Ramsey Show.
