South Shore High School (commonly known as South Shore) was a public 4-year high school located in the South Shore neighborhood on the southeast side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was part of the Chicago Public Schools district. South Shore was opened in 1940. The school was a part of a CBS documentary about the city's public school system in 1984. From 2001 to 2011, the school was made up of four schools: School of Entrepreneurship, School of the Arts, School of Leadership, and School of Technology.
