Platte River State Park is a state park of Nebraska, USA, situated on the southern bluffs above the Platte River. It is located 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Louisville, Nebraska, and midway between Omaha and Lincoln. The park has a relatively steep, rolling topography compared to the surrounding region. Combined from several different areas, the park consists of 418 acres (169 ha) and most of it is forested. Two observation towers provide views of the Platte River valley, the taller of which rises 85 feet (26 m) above its base. The park is located near several other tourist attractions including Eugene T.
