Fairfield/Vacaville is a proposed railroad station in Fairfield, California, USA which would serve the communities of Fairfield and Vacaville. An environmental impact study was finalized in 2011. Construction is expected to begin in 2015, and completion slated for 2015/16. The entire projected is budgeted at $40 million, including parking, bus facilities, and the construction of an overpass to carry Peabody Road over the railroad tracks. When completed, the station will see several dozen Capitol Corridor trains operated by Amtrak California.
