Crossgates Mall is a shopping mall located in the town of Guilderland, New York in Albany County, New York, United States, not far from Schenectady and just right outside of Albany. The mall opened on March 4, 1984, and in October 1994 underwent a large expansion that nearly doubled its size. Before it opened Albanians were limited to Colonie Center a low end enclosed mall and the outdoor mall Westgate Plaza.
