Franklinton High School is a public school for secondary education located in Franklinton, North Carolina, United States, about 4 miles (6 kilometers) southeast of town. It was constructed in 2010 to replace the old high school in town built in 1923 which will ease overcrowding. That building has been renamed Franklinton Middle School. The new high school currently serves grades 9 through 12 for students residing in the Franklinton and Youngsville areas. There was originally a high school located in Youngsville, but it merged with Franklinton in 1978. Their old building is now known as Youngsville Elementary School.
