100 East Pratt Street is a building located in Baltimore, Maryland. The building originally began construction in 1973 by Emery Roth & Sons, though it halted in 1975. In 1977 assessed values of downtown properties declined including 100 E Pratt, leased by IBM. Construction was then completed and developed in 1992 by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building stands at 418 ft. (128 m), containing twenty-eight floors. This tower with over 110,000 square feet (10,000 m²) consists of aluminum, glass and steel. In 1997, the building's firm was bought by Boston Properties, and later bought by Wells Real Estate in 2005 for $205 million, and was added to the Wells REIT II portfolio.
