The Bunny Museum is a world record-holding museum dedicated to rabbits that was opened to the public in 1998, located in Pasadena, California, USA. The museum currently holds more than 28,000 bunny related items. Located in a residential neighborhood, entrance is by appointment and donation only. The museum is extremely eclectic and bizarre, holding every type of bunny replica imagined. Amongst the ever expanding collection there are ceramic bunnies, stuffed bunnies, cookie jar bunnies and a giant rabbit topiary on the front lawn. The strangest pieces may be the freeze dried rabbits, which were once household pets, which are now kept in a glass display case. The museum has held the world record for "owning the most bunny items in the world" since 1999 when it was acknowledged by the Guinness World Records. At that point in time, it housed 8,473 pieces of bunny memorabilia.
