The Uzh (Ukrainian: Уж; translit. Uzh; Slovak: Uh; Hungarian: Ung, Polish: Uż) is a river in Ukraine and Slovakia. Its name comes from the ancient west Slavic dialect word už, meaning "Snake", (lat. "Serpentes").
