Kurchatov (Russian: Курча́тов) is a town in Kursk Oblast, Russia, located on the Seym River 42 kilometers (26 mi) west of Kursk.
Lgovsky District (Russian: Льго́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the central eastern part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,080 square kilometers (420 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Lgov (which is not administratively a part of the district).
