Paninsky District (Russian: Па́нинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,398 square kilometers (540 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Panino. Population: 29,231 (2010 Census); 33,017 (2002 Census); 36,143 (1989 Census). The population of Panino accounts for 22.8% of the district's total population.
