Białaczów [bjaˈwat͡ʂuf] is a village (a town in 1456 - 1870) in Opoczno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Białaczów. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Opoczno and 79 km (49 mi) south-east of the regional capital Łódź. The village has a population of 1,500. Historically, Białaczów belongs to Lesser Poland, and together with Opoczno, for hundreds of years it belonged to Lesser Poland’s Sandomierz Voivodeship.
