Thatta District (Urdu: ضِلع ٹهٹهہ‎), (Sindhi: ضلو ٺٽو), is located in the southern area, locally called Laar,of province of Sindh, Pakistan. Its capital is Thatta. It is home to a large necropolis of Makli.
