Guadalajara International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Guadalajara), ceremonial name Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (IATA: GDL, ICAO: MMGL), is the main airport of Mexico's second-largest city Guadalajara. It opened in 1966 and is located 16 km south of the city center. In 2013, the airport handled 8,148,000 passengers, and in 2014 it handled 8,733,500 passengers.
