Ciudad Obregon (Spanish pronunciation: [sjuˈðað oβɾeˈɣon]) is the second largest city in the northern Mexican state of Sonora and is situated 525 km (326 mi) south of the state's northern border with the U.S. state of Arizona.
Cócorit is a town located in the municipality of Cajeme in the southern part of the Mexican state of Sonora. The name of the town is derived from the Yaqui (Yoeme) word for a chili pepper, ko'oko'i. Cajeme is located in the Yaqui Valley. The comisario municipal ("municipal commissioner") is Ing. Arturo Soto Valenzuela.
