Albert Street (Latvian: Alberta iela) is a street in Riga, named after Bishop Albert. It is known for its Art Nouveau apartment buildings, many of them designed by the architect Mikhail Eisenstein. Building along the street Albert, 12 — the bright sample of national caused reaction to the Scandinavian northern modernist style. The house is constructed with use of structural and decorative elements of the Latvian national romanticism. His both masters built: Konstantīns Pēkšēns and Eižens Laube, the teacher and the pupil.
