The Assassin's Gate is one of four primary points of entry to the Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq. The name originates from the unit (Alpha Company, 2-6 Infantry, 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division - Alpha Company Assassins) initially providing security at the gate and does not refer to an event, nor does it have any Iraqi meaning. It is described as "a sandstone arch."
