Avinashi (previously known as Thirupukkoliyur) is a municipality in Tirupur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the fastest growing eastern suburb of Coimbatore. Avinashi is one among the seven taluks namely Udumalaipettai, Kangeyam, Dharapuram, Palladam, Madathukulam, Tiruppur, Avinashi tuluk of Tirupur district. Avinashi is located on National Highway NH47, which now bypasses the town.
