Labhpur (also spelt Labpur), is a town with a block office,a police station in Bolpur subdivision of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Known to the outside world as the native place of Tarashankar Bandopadhyay and one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and located on the Ahmedpur-Katwa narrow gauge railway, which is being converted into a broadgauge one.
