Centre of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS) was established in year 2002 as an initiative of the University Grants Commission (India) and was set us as a Centre of Excellence. It is an academic and research centre of University of Allahabad. CBCS was formally inaugurated on 2nd Feb' 03 by the then Hon'ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
