Mudhol is a town previously known as "'Muduoolalu"' in the Bagalkot District in the Northern part of the South Indian state of Karnataka. It is about 60 km from the district headquarters of Bagalkot town on the left bank of the Ghataprabha River. It is famous for a breed of dog known as the Mudhol Hound.
