Nilothi is a small village of Shokeen Gotra of Jats, near Nangloi Jat, National Highway-10, Delhi. The whole village drives its lineage from a single father Ch.Alam Chand who received Nilothi in partition and his elder brother got Nangloi as his part. Alam chand settled in Nilothi in 1405. The Jats of this village are further divided into four families. The written history of the village is available with the Bhaatt, a clan of Brahmins, who have been entrusted the job of writing history.
