British India Corporation Limited (BIC) is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The company manufactures textiles for both civilian and armed forces consumption. It manufactures the popular "Lal-imli" and "Dhariwal" brands of woolen products. The company was established in 1920 as a public limited company, and in 1981 was nationalized and taken over by government of India. It has not generated a profit since 1989.
