Mancherial is a Municipal town in Adilabad district in the south Indian state of Telangana. It is located on the north banks of Godavari River with an area of 35 km² (14 sq mi). It is situated 253 kilometres (157 mi) north east of the state capital Hyderabad. As of 2011 Census, it has 86,911 inhabitants.
