Kirkland High School & Community College is situated on the corner of Methil Brae. It is a six-year comprehensive school with its own Community College that serves the adult population in the Levenmouth area. The head teacher is Ronnie Ross, who has been since January 2005. In June 2012 Fife Council proposed that the school should merge with neighbouring Buckhaven High School to create Levenmouth High School.
