Alexandra Park is a public park in the East End of Glasgow, Scotland. It is located in Dennistoun, two miles east of the city centre. To the north is the M8 motorway. Named after Princess Alexandra of Denmark, it opened in 1870. The users of this park have always found the park pleasant and an enjoyable place to relax and do activities such as sunbathing, playing sports and going for walks or runs. The highest point of the Park gives views North to Ben Lomond and South to the Tinto Hills.
