Lydlinch is a village and civil parish in the county of Dorset in southern England. It lies within the North Dorset administrative district, 3 miles (4.8 km) west of the town of Sturminster Newton. It is sited on Oxford clay close to the small River Lydden in the Blackmore Vale. In the 2011 census the civil parish—which includes the settlement of King's Stag to the south—had 199 dwellings, 192 households and a population of 437.
