Willowfield School is a four form entry, mixed gender secondary school in Walthamstow, East London with 600 students on roll. It is a neighbourhood 11-16 comprehensive school that admits 120 girls and boys to Year 7 each year. The current acting headteacher is John Hemingway, who has temporarily been given the role after the departure of his predecessor Eve Wilson, who recently retired after 15 years with the school. The school has four areas, the North Wing, East Wing, South Wing and West Wing. The school's motto is 'Focusing on Learning and Celebrating Achievement' which reflects on the importance of rewarding students for good work.
