The SkyDome Arena is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Coventry, England. It was built in 1999. It is home to the Coventry Blaze Ice hockey team. It was built as part of the SkyDome multiplex, along with the Odeon Cinema, The Spon Gate (Wetherspoons; named for the original Spon Gate, part of the city walls), Lava and Ignite (closed 27 April 2010). Jumpin Jaks, Harvester (previously Old Orleans) and Club M. The old Lava (formerly Icon) complex is now home to PureGym (a nationwide franchise of modern, budget gymnasiums) and the old Ignite (formerly Diva) complex is home to a Genting Casino. The Skydome complex now also houses a bar called Crosby's located at the end of the Ice rink.
