Kendal railway station is a railway station serving Kendal in Cumbria, England. It is on the Windermere Branch Line from Oxenholme to Windermere. It is operated by First TransPennine Express. It only has one platform, which has a stone-built shelter. Before the singling of the line in May 1973, the station had a second platform. A car park now occupies the site of the demolished Oxenholme-bound platform, signal box and goods depot. The signal box was dismantled after closure and rebuilt at Kirkby Stephen on the Settle-Carlisle Line.
