The West End (Scottish Gaelic: An Ceann Siar) of Edinburgh, Scotland, forms a large part of the city centre. If Old Town is the historic centre, and New Town is the economic centre, then the West End can be thought of as the city's cultural centre, as it boasts many of the city's arts venues. Such venues include Usher Hall, The Filmhouse, the Royal Lyceum and the Traverse Theatre.
