Prestatyn /prɛˈstætɪn/ is a seaside resort, town and community in Denbighshire, Wales. Historically part of Flintshire, it is located on the Irish Sea coast, to the east of Rhuddlan. At the 2001 Census, Prestatyn had a population of 18,496, increasing to 18,849 at the 2011 census.
