Wirral Peninsula
Wirral or the Wirral /ˈwɪrəl/ is a peninsula in North West England. It is bounded to the west by the River Dee, forming a boundary with Wales, to the east by the River Mersey and to the north by the Irish Sea.
Penyffordd is a village and an electoral ward in Flintshire, Wales, situated to the south west of Buckley and to the west of Chester. The name is derived from the Welsh Pen Y Ffordd - meaning, literally, "head of the road". The resident population of Penyffordd, as measured in the 2001 Census, was 3,715, increasing to 3,874 at the 2011 census.
