Manors Metro station is to the east of Newcastle city centre on the Yellow line of the Tyne and Wear Metro, and opened in 1982. Due to its location on the edge of the city centre the station is relatively lightly used with a recorded patronage of 227,000 passengers in the period 2008-9.
