Foreglen (from Irish: Fiodhnach/Fiodhnaigh, meaning "woody place") is a village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is 6km west of Dungiven on the A6 Foreglen Road, a main route linking Belfast and Derry. Limavady is 18 km to the north and Derry is 23 km to the north west. It is designated as a Small Village and in the 2001 Census it had a population of 285 people. It lies within the Limavady Borough Council area.
