Kingsley is a small village in the Staffordshire Moorlands near to Cheadle, and situated on the A52 from Stoke on Trent to Ashbourne. Nowadays it is a quiet rural village, but 100 years ago it was the centre of the Churnet Valley Iron Mining Industry. Partly as a consequence of this, Kingsley at one time had many pubs, but today only one remains, The Bull's Head, in High Street.
