Oléron
Île d'Oléron (pronounced: [il doleʁɔ̃]) is an island off the Atlantic coast of France (due west of Rochefort), on the southern side of the Pertuis d'Antioche strait.
Dolus-d'Oléron is a commune in the Charente-Maritime department in southwestern France. The area is mostly residential, with a village-style main street with a church and small complex of amenities including a large Intermarché supermarket, petrol station, DIY shop and some other retail.
