Pikku Huopalahti (Swedish: Lillhoplax) is a neighbourhood of Helsinki between Mannerheimintie (the main entrance road to Helsinki) in the east and Huopalahdentie to its west. One can say roughly speaking that the neighborhood is bordered by the streets of Vihdintie and Läpinmäentie to the north, Mannerheimintie to the east, Huopalahdentie to the west, Kuusitie and Mäntytie on the southeast, and Paciuksenkatu to the immediate south. The neighborhood, which literally means 'Tiny Felt Bay', is named after a small bay that lies at the heart of the neighborhood, surrounded by a large park. This bay extends out to the Gulf of Finland. Most of the housing in Pikku Huopalahti is residential apartment building, primarily built in the 1980s and 1990s.
