Xàtiva (Valencian pronunciation: [ˈʃativa], Spanish: Játiva [ˈxatiβa], Arabic: شاطبة Shāṭiba) is a town in eastern Spain, in the province of Valencia, on the right (western) bank of the river Albaida and at the junction of the Valencia–Murcia and Valencia Albacete railways.
