El Raval (Catalan pronunciation: [əɫ rəˈβaɫ]) is a neighbourhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Spain. The area, especially the part closest to the port, was also informally known as Barri Xinès or Barrio Chino, meaning "Chinatown".
